Invisible Guide
Rising with the cities light pollution, insects are often unable to dis- distinguish between day and night, lost in the city of lights.
This work takes non-anthropocentrism as the starting point, aims to rescue lost insects, and takes the polarized navigation experiment of light and insects as the core, trying to optical polarization technique is combined with physical and mechanical structure, electronic information technology, change the light path of moths’ vision, guide them to the original eating and pollination.
"Invisible Guide" is to find a breakthrough in the influence of human development on other creatures. This is actually about a larger theme: how to live with nature. As designers, how do we integrate ecological balance into irreversible technological development and urban transformation.
